چکیده

Modern geodetic observations from a wide range of space and terrestrial technologies contribute to our knowledge of the solid Earth, atmosphere, ocean, cryosphere, and land water storage. These geodetic observations record the “fingerprints” of global change processes and thus are a crucial independent source of high accuracy information for many global change studies. Many of the geodetic techniques require a globally distributed ground infrastructure, and associated space segment elements. In the past decade and half a variety of techniquespecific services have been established under the auspices of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG) to facilitate global coordination of geodetic activities

GGOS Working Group on Ground Networks and Communications

Properly designed and structured groundbased geodetic networks materialize the reference systems to support sub-mm global change measurements over space, time and evolving technologies. Over this past year, the Ground Networks and Communications Working Group (GN&C WG) has been organized under the Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS) to work with the IAG measurement services (the IGS, ILRS, ...

An improved global zenith tropospheric delay model GZTD2 considering diurnal variations

The zenith tropospheric delay (ZTD) is an important atmospheric parameter in the wide application of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) technology in geoscience. Given that the temporal resolution of the current global zenith tropospheric delay model (GZTD) is only 24 h, an improved model, GZTD2, has been developed by taking the diurnal variations into consideration and modifying the mo...

The Contribution of GNSS CORS Infrastructure to the Mission of Modern Geodesy

Geodesy is the science of measuring and mapping the geometry, orientation and gravity field of the Earth including the associated variations with time. Geodesy has also provided the foundation for high accuracy surveying and mapping. Modern Geodesy involves a range of space and terrestrial technologies that contribute to our knowledge of the solid earth, atmosphere and oceans. These technologie...

Fixing of Cycle Slips in Dual-Frequency GPS Phase Observables using Discrete Wavelet Transforms

The occurrence of cycle slips is a major limiting factor for achievement of sub-decimeter accuracy in positioning with GPS (Global Positioning System). In the past, several authors introduced a method based on different combinations of GPS data together with Kalman filter to solve the problem of the cycle slips. In this paper the same philosophy is used but with discrete wavelet transforms. For...

On the edge geodetic and edge geodetic domination numbers of a graph

In this paper, we study both concepts of geodetic dominatingand edge geodetic dominating sets and derive some tight upper bounds onthe edge geodetic and the edge geodetic domination numbers. We also obtainattainable upper bounds on the maximum number of elements in a partitionof a vertex set of a connected graph into geodetic sets, edge geodetic sets, geodetic domin...
